Sustainable Partnerships in Development

About Us

Sustainable Partnerships In Development - SPID, is a non-profit social enterprise that works in Kenya in communities living in Rural and informal settlements across the region. Despite the country being a low-middle income economy and the fastest growing in East Africa, over 35% of Kenyan’s (nearly 50 million) population still lives in abject poverty. It is also estimated that more than 32 million Kenyans live in rural areas; 9 million lack access to safe drinking water and close to 10 million have no access to electricity connectivity.

SPID partners together with public and private institutions to increase access to Innovations, SME Microfinancing, Water and Sanitation for People and Livestock and Agribusiness opportunities. We offer sustainable solutions to poverty eradication through advocacy, knowledge sharing and community driven collaborative programming.
